The French Alphabet

فرانسیسی حروفِ تہجی

French uses the same 26 letters as English, but the NAMES of the letters sound different. Click any letter to hear it. You need this to spell your name.

Tip

Letters G and J are swapped compared to English: French G = 'zhay', French J = 'zhee'. Letter E = 'uh' (not 'ee'). Letter I = 'ee'.

* Q, U and R cannot be written correctly in English or Urdu letters. Learn them in the 'U sound' and 'R sound' sections by listening and copying the mouth position.
