Vowel Sounds (A, E, É, È, I, O, OU)

حروفِ علت کی آوازیں

French vowels are short and clean — no gliding like English 'ay-ee'. Keep your mouth still while saying the vowel.

Tip

Final -e with no accent is usually SILENT (femme → 'fam'). É always sounds 'ay'. È / Ê / AI sound 'eh' like English 'bed'.
