The simple rules for using this free French course: what you may do with the lessons, what you may not do, and how the course is provided to you.
Free, and provided as is
This site is provided free of charge, as is, for personal study.
There is no guarantee that the site will always be online, that every page will always work, or that it will be free of small errors.
The owner may add, change or remove lessons, or take the site offline, at any time and without notice.
No guarantee of results
The course is built to take a beginner through A1 and into the first A2 parts, but no particular exam result is promised.
How much you learn depends on how much you practise. No study website can promise a grade, a certificate or a pass mark.
This site is not an accredited school and does not issue any recognised qualification.
What you may do
You may use the course for your own personal learning, free of charge, for as long as you like.
You may work through the lessons, do the quizzes, print pages for your own study and keep your own notes.
Teachers, tutors and schools may point students to the site and link to it.
What you may not do
You may not copy the whole course, or a large part of it, and republish it as your own work.
You may not sell the course, put it behind a paywall, include it in a paid product, or use it commercially in any other way without written permission from the owner.
You may not remove the site name, or present the material as if somebody else wrote it.
The French content
The French in this course is believed to be correct, and it has been checked with care.
Even so, a course of this size may contain errors. If you find one, please report it and it will be corrected.
Corrections are welcome, and they are treated as a help rather than as a complaint.
AI voice scripts and video prompts
Some lessons end with a plain text script that can be pasted into an AI voice tool. Any AI video prompts that once appeared on the site have been removed.
These scripts and prompts are not part of the service. The site does not create, host, store or deliver any audio or video file.
Any tool you paste them into is a separate service with its own terms, and this site is not responsible for it.

This site may link to other websites. A link is not an endorsement.
The owner does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices.
If a link is broken, or points somewhere unsuitable, please report it.
